Taman Kitang I

Early this year, I have launched my so call "Project H". Some of my friend have know about this project H status and stuff.

Well, previously, I'm not so ready to mention about it since it's not really officially OK...

Starts early this year, BF and I have gone high and low searching for a suitable place where we can call our future home (house is just a house if it's not harmony and prosperity to be a home). I must say that it's been a real pain in the ass when you met some not customer oriented personnel.

For my case, I am really pissed off with this bank personnel. Well, not going to mention which bank with this crazy bankers. As an officer that meets customers all the time, you should at least be:
  • Honest. NOT just rounding the bush just to please your customer!
  • Returns call. When your customer calls your mobile, YOU should at least call back!!
  • Follow up. Don't wait until customer calls you to give update. You should and MUST update your customer right after you got the updates!!

 This bankers got me so pissed off because I've wasted some AL just because of HIM. Sssheesshhh!! There's this one time, where I go to the bank to collect the so call quotations and do the applications. He did inform me that he is on leave on that day BUT he will passdown to his colleagues on what I want. And I told him that I want to see how much monthly payment would be and other stuff. When I got there, his colleague come and entertain me and say "Please sign here". Of course, I felt so weird. Sign what? Where's the thing I ask for? And his colleague say "I don't know. He ask me to ask you to sign. THat's all". I got so pissed off and feel like babbling nonsense but I just kept my coolness.

Argghh!! Some officers.. sure not professional at all!

Anyway, I'm please I did not have to choose them or else I'll end up pissing off for 30 years!

So, what does that have to do with Taman Kitang? The housing project that I've set my eyes on is call Taman Kitang I.

Last Sunday is BF day of signing the "Book of Life" (I think that's what they call it). From the time table list, it is known as the "First Confession" day... Well, I translate directly the meaning since it's in BM. Hehehe... We arrived there at around 9am. Not many people there that time but there are people setting up stall to sell some food after the church service. BF told me that he had not had any breakfast yet and I nag him. Whahahaha! I had to sit separately from BF and dad since I'm not the godfather. Church service starts at 9.30pm. While waiting for the mass, I took pictures all around the church . Are they dreaming?? I took some picture when they signed the book. Well, I'm the only photographer that day. One thing different between St. Mark and my church is that during this kind of occasion is that in my church, there will be more than 1 photographers going all round taking photos or filming the whole occasion. Cozy Cafe, Jalan Song

Feeling hungry for something different on lunch time? Another place you can think of will be this restaurant - The Cozy Cafe. It is opposite One TJ with a black signboard. The environment is indeed cozy and warmth. Taste wise not bad but I can say that the service is a little weird. We order tea and they only permitted to give us 2 cup. Hhmmmm, I thought that we can just ask them to refill the pot wit hot water and share the tea amongst us. Guess this is how they earn more - limiting the number of sharing per tea pot. Oh well, got to just follow their rules. And this is what we ordered - sharing portion between a few of us. After all, ladies are small eaters. Mushroom soup with garlic bread Fish and chips Spaghetti Carbonara with hot dogs  Enjoy your lunch yea...

'Ma Li Chai'/'Mani Chai', also known as Cangkuk Manis

While googling for news about 'malichai', it turns out that I hardly get anything that I am looking for, so this triggers me to write something about this local vegetables that I believe, can only be found in Sarawak. 'Mali chai' is easily planted and grow quite fast as well. In fact, this is the only vegetables that I planted and it didn't fail on me! With its stick, just plant it on the ground and leave the rain and sun to takes care of the rest. Hahaha... 'Mali chai' is a word in hokkien that mostly use in Kuching. 'Chai' means vegetables. Hakka people called it 'su choi'. Well, this vege doesn't seems to have an English name. If we are to translate from BM to English, it definitely sounds weird - Sweet Hook. I think anyone who hear 'sweet hook' will not be keen to try it out.. So, how do 'mali chai' looks like? I've snap the photos of this vegetables at my garden.
