CNY Eves

Image
So weird of me posting what I do on the first day of CNY and later post about the eve later on. Hahaha .. Anyway, during the new year eve, I woke up pretty early - 7am. lol ... So what did I do? My day starts with the normal routine of sweeping the floor, mopping, cleaning my dog's bedsheet (this one is damn dirty), isolate her favourite toy far from living room (if I throw her toys down to Sg Rejang, I think Bujang Senang descendents will die), etc, etc... My dog has been staring at me as if trying to figure out what I'm doing. After the whole cleaning process, it's food hunting time. So, went to 7th mile to look for crab. Before that, I went to 3rd mile, MJC pasar malam and even normal supermarket to look for crab and came home empty handed. With high hope, I went there with my dad. Sadly, there's not even 1 crab! Sobs.. Where are all the crabs?? Last hope - Kenyalang Market. But again, NOTHING. Instead, I bought popiah and cha sio. The popiah is nice but the person w

Family Gathering @Aunty House

Chinese New Year will always mean gathering with relatives and friends. During the first day of CNY, my aunt had invited us for their family 'open house' (meaning open house only for relatives). I get to meet all my cousins and aunties and uncles. Some of them is now staying overseas and had came back just to celebrate CNY. After eating, I sat down on the sofa, relaxing and talks to some of my cousins. I realize that my family have a lot of 'partime photographer'. Whenever there are relative coming in, these photographer would start to snap photos all round. Flashes everywhere. Hehehe... Wonder who's photo he's taking? Tadaaaaa..... the veteren ... And later the veteren teached the newbie some basic skills and knowledge While on the other side, everyone is talking everyone's picture... And naughty me, snap some of the candid of them taking other people's picture. These photographers uses camera that range from RM500 to 10Ks.... As for me, I'm u

RCIA Class - First Day

Yesterday is the first day I attended the RCIA classes. Some of you might be thinking how come I attend this class when in this blog, I keep mentioning going to church. Well, in short, I'm already a baptist Christian and have received my first communion when I'm in primary 3. The last stage, confirmation is delayed until now. Yeah, I'm almost 30 and still confirmation is not done yet! OK, after so many years since my last confession class, I've forgotten everything about whatever that I learnt! Frankly speaking, I feel so guilty about it. Let me start with the sign of the cross that we usually practice: "In the name of the Father, the son and the Holy Spirit". Why do we touch our forehead first? And after that, our heart? And lastly both shoulder? Well, our brain controls everything and without our brain we are just walking ghost. God is the Head of all things and therefore, we touch our forehead first. After recalling that God is the head of our life, He too

Words of Encouragement

Someone forwarded this to me. I found it very meaningful so shared the words of God with every readers of this blog. The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him, and every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect him from the elements, and to store his few possessions. But then one day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, the smoke rolling up to the sky. The worst had happened; everything was lost. He was stunned with grief and anger. "God, how could you do th
