Home Cooked BBQ

Image
BBQ at home is a good way to celebrate something without much expenses needed. All you need is good sauce to marinate the meat and most importantly, close one with you... On my birthday this year, I decided to do some BBQ at home instead of going out eat. BF says that since he buy me new HP, I should treat on my birthday. Sob sob sob ...I thought he's going to treat me too... So, instead of spending RM50 going out dinner for 2, I rather do BBQ at my home for 3. Hahaha.... BF bought second b'day prezzy ... I requested BF to wrap it before giving it to me... Goggles... Yeah!! My dad boiled some eggs... which becomes my breakfast on the next day... BBQ is not complete without lamb. Yeah, I need lamb.. Give me lamb!!!! Hahaha... I'm not so fond of chicken wing since it's quite common to have chicken wing for BBQ. Hotdog is the simplest meat for BBQ. Mary had a little lamb..little lamb.. My dog is celebrating it too. She is looking forward for the lamb, just like her master

Hong Kong Noodle Re-visit

Image
I'm back at Hong Kong Noodles, Wisma Saberkas. This time, I take off the mee in pot from my mind. Sizzling noodles doesn't seems to be on their list anymore. But they have other new orders which is not in the list. I ordered the fried vermicelli in Teo Chew Style. I can't remember what's my dad order. Hehehe... Food is never complete without their special belachan fried with chilie.... Anyway, I'm satisfy with my food. The only regret is the portion is too much for me. I'm 110% full after this breakfast+lunch=brunch... Some of you must be wondering why is it that most of thep places I went serves local food. It's simple.. My dad and BF thinks that pizza is tea break and cheese is for rats. So, whose going to go western with me? Sob sob sob .....

Killer Wasp

I am so sad when I heard of news about a family tragedy in which they are attacked by wasps. This really is a very unfortunate tragedy. For those who didn't know about the tragedy, it's in Borneo Post, almost everyday reporting on the status. Last Saturday, 5 people (4 kids and 1 adult-mother) is taking a walk around Batu Kawah, near to their house. Little did they know that there's a wasp nest around the bushes. The wasps somehow, attacked them. The youngest, age 3 is still learning and thus, didn't run as fast as the others. The second kid of age 6 is left behind too. Two other kids of age 8 and 11 isn't that fortunate as well. The 11 year old kid is actually the lady's brother in law. When the mother saw her kids are left behind, having the mother's instinct, she ran back to rescue her childs. For that, she is being stung repeatedly by the wasps. Upon reaching their house, she called her husband, panickly telling him that they are all going to die. Two of

Starbuck & The Spring

Image
Recently, went to starbuck to meet up with ex-housemate. We decided to go to Starbuck since we do not intend to eat any heavy meals. Since one of our friend still owes us a meal, this time, it's his treat. Hehehe ... Frankly speaking, I'm not the type that would pay RM10+ for a cup of sweet and branded coffee. I can't really remember what I ordered. I think it's called chocolate something. My friend order the green tea flavor while another friend, can't remember what he ordered. Hehehe... The main purpose of going to The Spring is not for shopping of starbuck actually. That day, there are shows at Spring, which is organized by the Astro for some Singaporean actors and actress. Well, I do not know their name but I'm actually amazed at some of the little girl's performance. I won't dare to sing song at the stage if I'm 5 years old! I bet not all of them is here to watch the little kids performing.. My friend is here to have a glance at the two ladie

Raya Visiting 2009 & Things Learnt

Yeah, this is quite out-dated posting. It's going to be a short posting... Actually, I didn't go to any house this year. But, on the 3rd day, when I went to work, I met with one 'nenek' whom do not have any transport to go home. She is actually the cleaner of my company. Due to her age, we call her 'nenek'. I pitied her because she is actually left out by the van that suppose to pick her up. She had to wait until 7.30pm if she wants to wait for the next van coming. BF and I sends her home. She had invited us to come into her house. BF is reluctant because he wants to go for dinner. As for me, I am way too 'paiseh' to tel her that we do not want to go to her house. So, we just enter her house. It's very small, but cosy. I listened to her talking about her life. Her salary is roughly RM300 to RM500, depending on how many days she work. Due to her age, she had rejected of being cut for epf. Sometimes, her salary is just enough or sometimes not enough to

Mee Sua & Local Bun

Image
I went to 7th mile (AGAIN) for some food hunting, at the same time surveing the price of TV there. After the survey price, we went to filled our stomach at the coffee shop nearby. This coffee shop is always full with people and we hardly get a table during weekends or public holiday. I like this shop because they have a lot of food variety. So, this time I ordered mee sua and the local 'bun' which is famous to be made by Foochow chinese. It's nice!! The bun is selling at 70 cents per piece. Mee sua is RM4.50 per bowl. The Bun, 70 cents per piece Well, I wish they put more red wine in it though. I can hardly taste or smell the red wine from the mee sua although they mention it the Red wine mee sua...... The mee sua too soft.... Mee sua, RM4.50 Anyway, I'm way too full after this meal to complain anything .... Did I make anyone feeling hungry???
