OK, so I have make a summarize of my 2008 achievement. Hhmm, I can say is quite a lousy achievement. Hahaha!! Some people asked my why do we need to set a target for the year to come. Well, I guess the major reason is to make sure that we are moving forward, not moving backward. If you are the type of person that is as lazy as me, you definitely need a target. WHY? Well, if you do not have, you will always be staying at the same level and not moving one step ahead in your life! Ching asked me one question. Will I regret if I am to die tomorrow. For me, I will regret if I went through my life without achieving anything but spend it with enjoying my money in the pub, clothing, saloon, etc. I agree that we need to spend some on these kind of material life, but still that is not achieving anything. OK, cut the crap. After been thinking and thinking of my resolution for 2009, I set 10 targets. Hhmmmmm, I wonder how many of them I can achieve. So, here it goes, in term of financial: Settled ...

While having tea break with AppleJul and Janice yesterday, one of the chatting topics haunt my mind - What have we achieve this year? Hhmmm, frankly speaking, I can't recall if I set any resolution for 2008. Hahahaha!!! So, this morning, while checking my mail, I checked whether I wrote any 2008 resolution or not in my blog. It turns out, I wrote about CNY decorations, Chap Goh Mei, my new shirts, etc... and none of them is refering to my 2008 resolution. Aiks!! How come I don't set any 2008 resolution???? Huhuhuhu... No wonder I felt that I did not achieve anything or maybe I do achieve but I did not set it as my target this year. Huh! Not satisfied, I went to my budget files and checked whether I set any target financially. It turns out that I do set target in term of financial ONLY. Huh..Apalar me .... While having lunch just now, I asked this question to BF: "What would you choose if you have the choice to choose your gender, which means, to be a guy or to be a girl? His reply is "Guy"... Hhmmm, for me, I'll choose to be a girl. Hahaha!! Why? Some of you might say that girl have to entertain the aunty visit every month, need to suffer for the pain of delivery, clean the house, etc.. Well, my thinking is that if both is working, household work must be shared equally. Pain of delivery is something that we can be proud of. Aunty visit,... well, without these, there is no baby born in the world. So, indirectly, we too should be proud of it. Hahaha... But that's not the reason of why I choose to be a girl. So why I choose to be a girl? Well..... You can always ask BF/fiance/hubby to drive whenever both of you are out. Let him worry about where to park the car, traffic jam, etc, etc... Hhmm, you can get your BF/fiance/hubby to pick you from work everyday. Hahaha!!! ...

Some years ago, on a hot summer day in South Florida , a little boy decided to go for a swim in the old swimming hole behind his house. In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out the back door, leaving behind shoes, socks, and shirt as he went. He flew into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle of the lake, an alligator was swimming toward the shore. His father, working in the yard, saw the two as they got closer and closer together. In utter fear, he ran toward the water, yelling to his son as loudly as he could. Hearing his voice, the little boy became alarmed and made a U-turn to swim to his father. It was too late. Just as he reached his father, the alligator reached him. This morning, I read about this article about "Christmas for Payatas" . Hhmmm, sound unfamiliar, right? I bet not everyone or maybe all of us never heard about this. I only heard of "nasi goreng pataya" and never came across in my mind that there is a place called Payatas. Let me elaborate more about this place. It is located in Phillipines, which is known in the world as a Smokey Mountain. For more than 35 years until now, this place has shown to us that not everyone in the world is affordable to sit in front of PC, chatting and enjoying life like us. Here, children as young as 4 years old has been forced to work in order to support all the famillies members. Instead of having some toys to play and laugh, they are force to collect rubbish for sell in order to survive.
