Friday But Why Am I Feeling Gloomy ?

Yahooooooo !!! It's Friday.. But, why am I feeling gloomy ??? Must be because of last nite! Yesterday, thought of having dinner with my boy but turns out to be a frustrating dinner.

It's heavy rain last night after my aerobics. Walking to my car, 20% wet. Reach my house and realize I forgot about my keys. Huh! My dad is having dinner and my brother is not at home. Didn't want to bother anyone, I try to figure out how to enter the big gate in front of me!

So, I try to climb over the gate which is twice taller than me. Soak in the rain, with my dog keep shaking his tail, waiting for me to come down but ... the gate is tooooo tall !!!! Arrggghhhhhhh ..... Another attempt at the back door. I forgot where is my torch light, so, walking to the back, crossing my finger not to meet with something (I'm imagining snake, cat, dog, thief, bla bla bla). Hahaha .. Lucky that my dad didn't make the back door gate taller than me !!! Yippeeee!!! I'm inside my gate. Taking the key at secret place, I open the door with my dog following up and down with his tail shaking. Take the gate key, open the gate .. again, walking in rain and drive my car in.

I feel super duper cold !!! Gggrrrrrrrrrrrrr ... I am wet top down and still my dog keep following up and down. My keys are wet too and lucky it's still working. Hahahaha ... My new sport shoes is wet too !!! Sob Sob Sob ...

Take my bath and the heater isn't cold at all!! Sheesshhhhhh ... or am I feeling tooo cold that even the heater can't warm me? Hahahaha ...

Then this morning, wake up .. Feeling sore throat, flu, and warm but cold (I also don't know what it means). Eat kolo mee for breakfast but most of the time the mee is looking at me. And now, I am sitting here waiting for someone to rescue me... Helppppppppppp !!!!

Tonight going to help my bro to prepare the church decoration for my cousin wedding. Gonna take some photos and post it up. Wait for me!!!

Last Sunday is BF day of signing the "Book of Life" (I think that's what they call it). From the time table list, it is known as the "First Confession" day... Well, I translate directly the meaning since it's in BM. Hehehe... We arrived there at around 9am. Not many people there that time but there are people setting up stall to sell some food after the church service. BF told me that he had not had any breakfast yet and I nag him. Whahahaha! I had to sit separately from BF and dad since I'm not the godfather. Church service starts at 9.30pm. While waiting for the mass, I took pictures all around the church . Are they dreaming?? I took some picture when they signed the book. Well, I'm the only photographer that day. One thing different between St. Mark and my church is that during this kind of occasion is that in my church, there will be more than 1 photographers going all round taking photos or filming the whole occasion. Cozy Cafe, Jalan Song

Feeling hungry for something different on lunch time? Another place you can think of will be this restaurant - The Cozy Cafe. It is opposite One TJ with a black signboard. The environment is indeed cozy and warmth. Taste wise not bad but I can say that the service is a little weird. We order tea and they only permitted to give us 2 cup. Hhmmmm, I thought that we can just ask them to refill the pot wit hot water and share the tea amongst us. Guess this is how they earn more - limiting the number of sharing per tea pot. Oh well, got to just follow their rules. And this is what we ordered - sharing portion between a few of us. After all, ladies are small eaters. Mushroom soup with garlic bread Fish and chips Spaghetti Carbonara with hot dogs  Enjoy your lunch yea...

'Ma Li Chai'/'Mani Chai', also known as Cangkuk Manis

While googling for news about 'malichai', it turns out that I hardly get anything that I am looking for, so this triggers me to write something about this local vegetables that I believe, can only be found in Sarawak. 'Mali chai' is easily planted and grow quite fast as well. In fact, this is the only vegetables that I planted and it didn't fail on me! With its stick, just plant it on the ground and leave the rain and sun to takes care of the rest. Hahaha... 'Mali chai' is a word in hokkien that mostly use in Kuching. 'Chai' means vegetables. Hakka people called it 'su choi'. Well, this vege doesn't seems to have an English name. If we are to translate from BM to English, it definitely sounds weird - Sweet Hook. I think anyone who hear 'sweet hook' will not be keen to try it out.. So, how do 'mali chai' looks like? I've snap the photos of this vegetables at my garden.
