My Weekend - All Well, Ends Well


Hhmmm, my weekend is kind of nice. Yesterday (Saturday), wake up at 7 something, planning to clean the whole house. But, only manage to sweep and mop the floor with my stupid Darwin keep on disturbing me with my broom stick. When I get mad, he run away and hide. Hhmmppfff....
After that, I cook maggie mee. Hahaha... First, I cook the mee. Then, dry up the mee (to remove the layers on top of the mee), I boil water again to cook the soup. I add some fish+vege ball and some cabbage. Thought of putting some carrot too but I guess, I am too lazy to cut the carrots. Hehehe....

This time, I remember to take some photos before I ate them. Kekekeke...


After that, watch tv and chatting online until 1pm. Then went dating and lunch in Kenyalang. Bought my shoes there for CNY. My boyfriend bought slipper. *Sigh* ... This month, I really 'pokai'. Spend so much on shoes, clothes and later need to buy CNY goodies again. Help!!!!!........
We went back around 5pm as my partner feels kind of tired. As it just rained, I felt like taking 15 minutes nap. But turn out to be a 1 hour nap. Hahahahaha.... After dinner, I watch tv one whole night. Due to too much sleep in the evening, end up, I can't have a good sleep. Sob Sob Sob. Feeling headache and stressed up for waking up the whole night.
Finally, morning come and it's Sunday!! As usual, Church then go to my Godmum house. She cooked fried rice, vegetables and hotdog. Make coffee and tea. After that, I went back home. Watching how my dog runs away from being bath. Sitting there, with his innocent look.




After that I went out, again, to... BOULEVARD.. Kekekeke... Bought RM4 sandals and eat at Sushi King. Hehehe...
Then watch tv at my boyfriend's house... "Bawang Putih and Bawang Merah"... After that, Spongebob. Hehehe.. Then later, went back home.
Actually now, I am feeling a bit stress up. Just felt that I am too independent and seeking for some place where I could be dependent instead of independent. Maybe it's just my own desire and only myself know what I means. Well, I don't wants to spoil my weekend story here! Kekekeke...

The First Confession - St. Mark's Church, Batu Kawa

Last Sunday is BF day of signing the "Book of Life" (I think that's what they call it). From the time table list, it is known as the "First Confession" day... Well, I translate directly the meaning since it's in BM. Hehehe... We arrived there at around 9am. Not many people there that time but there are people setting up stall to sell some food after the church service. BF told me that he had not had any breakfast yet and I nag him. Whahahaha! I had to sit separately from BF and dad since I'm not the godfather. Church service starts at 9.30pm. While waiting for the mass, I took pictures all around the church . Are they dreaming?? I took some picture when they signed the book. Well, I'm the only photographer that day. One thing different between St. Mark and my church is that during this kind of occasion is that in my church, there will be more than 1 photographers going all round taking photos or filming the whole occasion. Cozy Cafe, Jalan Song

Feeling hungry for something different on lunch time? Another place you can think of will be this restaurant - The Cozy Cafe. It is opposite One TJ with a black signboard. The environment is indeed cozy and warmth. Taste wise not bad but I can say that the service is a little weird. We order tea and they only permitted to give us 2 cup. Hhmmmm, I thought that we can just ask them to refill the pot wit hot water and share the tea amongst us. Guess this is how they earn more - limiting the number of sharing per tea pot. Oh well, got to just follow their rules. And this is what we ordered - sharing portion between a few of us. After all, ladies are small eaters. Mushroom soup with garlic bread Fish and chips Spaghetti Carbonara with hot dogs  Enjoy your lunch yea...

'Ma Li Chai'/'Mani Chai', also known as Cangkuk Manis

While googling for news about 'malichai', it turns out that I hardly get anything that I am looking for, so this triggers me to write something about this local vegetables that I believe, can only be found in Sarawak. 'Mali chai' is easily planted and grow quite fast as well. In fact, this is the only vegetables that I planted and it didn't fail on me! With its stick, just plant it on the ground and leave the rain and sun to takes care of the rest. Hahaha... 'Mali chai' is a word in hokkien that mostly use in Kuching. 'Chai' means vegetables. Hakka people called it 'su choi'. Well, this vege doesn't seems to have an English name. If we are to translate from BM to English, it definitely sounds weird - Sweet Hook. I think anyone who hear 'sweet hook' will not be keen to try it out.. So, how do 'mali chai' looks like? I've snap the photos of this vegetables at my garden.
