Another Relatives Appointment

I wonder if things has been moving too fast or if this is what God wants it to be. Well, my cousin came to know that I have special someone.

On her trip back to Kuching this time, she had asked me to bring this special someone to meet her. Couple days ago, she talks to:

Cousin : "I'm coming back on Sunday for CNY"
Me : "Really? How many days?"
Cousin : "Going back on Wednesday, fast hor"
Me : "Waa, so fast.. only 3 days"
Cousin : "Come visit me at my house ya and bring him too. I want to see."
Me : "Err, I ask him first"

Then today, another conversation with her...

Cousin : "What are you doing now?"
Me : "Hello, hehe.. eating my lunch"
Cousin : "Yesterday I went to your house but you weren't there."
Me : "I went out. Hehehe .. "
Cousin : "Tonight, come to my house la."
Me : "Tonight ha, can, no problem, but I go to another friend house first."
Cousin : "Ok, what time?"
Me : "I think seven something, ok ?"
Cousin : "Ok, but bring him too. I want to see."
Me : "Haaa, errr, ok, I ask him .. Hehehe "

She is one of my cousin that knows about my bf. I wonder if her parents would say anything or not if I bring someone with me to her house. Well, I'm slight nervous and kin tio .. Wonder if it is too fast ... Hhmmm,...

Sadly, Henry don't feel nervous at all .. Hhhmmppffffff ....

The First Confession - St. Mark's Church, Batu Kawa

Last Sunday is BF day of signing the "Book of Life" (I think that's what they call it). From the time table list, it is known as the "First Confession" day... Well, I translate directly the meaning since it's in BM. Hehehe... We arrived there at around 9am. Not many people there that time but there are people setting up stall to sell some food after the church service. BF told me that he had not had any breakfast yet and I nag him. Whahahaha! I had to sit separately from BF and dad since I'm not the godfather. Church service starts at 9.30pm. While waiting for the mass, I took pictures all around the church . Are they dreaming?? I took some picture when they signed the book. Well, I'm the only photographer that day. One thing different between St. Mark and my church is that during this kind of occasion is that in my church, there will be more than 1 photographers going all round taking photos or filming the whole occasion. Cozy Cafe, Jalan Song

Feeling hungry for something different on lunch time? Another place you can think of will be this restaurant - The Cozy Cafe. It is opposite One TJ with a black signboard. The environment is indeed cozy and warmth. Taste wise not bad but I can say that the service is a little weird. We order tea and they only permitted to give us 2 cup. Hhmmmm, I thought that we can just ask them to refill the pot wit hot water and share the tea amongst us. Guess this is how they earn more - limiting the number of sharing per tea pot. Oh well, got to just follow their rules. And this is what we ordered - sharing portion between a few of us. After all, ladies are small eaters. 'Ma Li Chai'/'Mani Chai', also known as Cangkuk Manis

While googling for news about 'malichai', it turns out that I hardly get anything that I am looking for, so this triggers me to write something about this local vegetables that I believe, can only be found in Sarawak. 'Mali chai' is easily planted and grow quite fast as well. In fact, this is the only vegetables that I planted and it didn't fail on me! With its stick, just plant it on the ground and leave the rain and sun to takes care of the rest. Hahaha... 'Mali chai' is a word in hokkien that mostly use in Kuching. 'Chai' means vegetables. Hakka people called it 'su choi'. Well, this vege doesn't seems to have an English name. If we are to translate from BM to English, it definitely sounds weird - Sweet Hook. I think anyone who hear 'sweet hook' will not be keen to try it out.. So, how do 'mali chai' looks like? I've snap the photos of this vegetables at my garden.
