Obama Won!! - Yeah!!!

As we all know two candidate has been fighting to be a president of the United State. One of them is Obama (YEAH!!!!) ....

Well, my personal point of view, if I am in US, I will vote for Obama. Reason? Well, he gives me the sense that he is a good president. Not that I'm saying McCain is bad or anything but I think that Obama will be a better president.

Few weeks ago, I read in news on how Obama had rush to the nearest florist to get a bouquet of flowers for her wifes. Can't remember the reason for the flower but the point is... This is so sweet!! Being a candidate for the election, he can just ask any of his assistant or called the florist to order. But he didn't do that and instead grab the flowers himself. Wow!! How romantic!!! I'm sure his wife is one lucky women on Earth. Will any of our bf/hubby/fiance get us flower on his own if he is a well known person like Obama? Well, I bet most of us will say no.

Sadly that a day before the election, Obama's grandmother had passed away. I'm sure her blessing will always be with Obama...

Anyway, Obama won!! Hurray!!!!

Why you are more interested in U.S. president? How about our Pak Lah? He also had to rush to get another wife mah...hahaha! I'm talking Kok...sorry:P

Last Sunday is BF day of signing the "Book of Life" (I think that's what they call it). From the time table list, it is known as the "First Confession" day... Well, I translate directly the meaning since it's in BM. Hehehe... We arrived there at around 9am. Not many people there that time but there are people setting up stall to sell some food after the church service. BF told me that he had not had any breakfast yet and I nag him. Whahahaha! I had to sit separately from BF and dad since I'm not the godfather. Church service starts at 9.30pm. While waiting for the mass, I took pictures all around the church . Are they dreaming?? I took some picture when they signed the book. Well, I'm the only photographer that day. One thing different between St. Mark and my church is that during this kind of occasion is that in my church, there will be more than 1 photographers going all round taking photos or filming the whole occasion. Cozy Cafe, Jalan Song

Feeling hungry for something different on lunch time? Another place you can think of will be this restaurant - The Cozy Cafe. It is opposite One TJ with a black signboard. The environment is indeed cozy and warmth. Taste wise not bad but I can say that the service is a little weird. We order tea and they only permitted to give us 2 cup. Hhmmmm, I thought that we can just ask them to refill the pot wit hot water and share the tea amongst us. Guess this is how they earn more - limiting the number of sharing per tea pot. Oh well, got to just follow their rules. And this is what we ordered - sharing portion between a few of us. After all, ladies are small eaters. 'Ma Li Chai'/'Mani Chai', also known as Cangkuk Manis

While googling for news about 'malichai', it turns out that I hardly get anything that I am looking for, so this triggers me to write something about this local vegetables that I believe, can only be found in Sarawak. 'Mali chai' is easily planted and grow quite fast as well. In fact, this is the only vegetables that I planted and it didn't fail on me! With its stick, just plant it on the ground and leave the rain and sun to takes care of the rest. Hahaha... 'Mali chai' is a word in hokkien that mostly use in Kuching. 'Chai' means vegetables. Hakka people called it 'su choi'. Well, this vege doesn't seems to have an English name. If we are to translate from BM to English, it definitely sounds weird - Sweet Hook. I think anyone who hear 'sweet hook' will not be keen to try it out.. So, how do 'mali chai' looks like? I've snap the photos of this vegetables at my garden.
