Prevent Dengue, Fight Dengue

Although dengue cases in Sarawak is not in critical stage, I still thinks it's wise to take a precaution. Receive a junk mail from a friend about setting up a mosquitoes trap in preventing mosquitoes breed all around our houses and increase the dengue disease all over us. It is so simple! All we need is brown sugar and yeast.

1. So here it goes....... It's worth to give it a trial!
2. Cut a plastic bottles into half and keep both parts.
3. Take the lower portion of the bottle, dissolve the brown sugar in hot water. Let it cool down to ~70degF
4. Add the yeast. CO2 will form which indirectly attracts the mosquitoes.
5. Cover the bottle with a dark wrapping and place the top portion upside down like a funnel. Place it in a corner in your house.
6. In 2 weeks, you will be surprised by the number of mosquitoes killed.
