Cash Sweep Life Draw

For those who are an active gambler, I bet you sure will know about this.

Cash Sweep is holding life draw in front of audience every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Last Saturday and Wednesday, I went there for fun. My dad bought cash sweep. I think I'm spending RM1 per month on lottery. Hehehe....

It really opens my eye on how they actually draw the number. For cash sweep, the draw would be based on the horse that wins the tournament. They would draw the number one by one with the witness of 3 public judges and 3 invited judges. It is fun to see other people reaction when every number is mentioned out loud, especially when it come to the first prize.


For me, I accompany my dad there for the aircond. It is very cooling and I almost fall asleep while others eye is wide awake. I believe the security realize that I'm sleepy. Kekeke...

Oh ya, the most important is you must be 21 years old in order to enter the premises. When I tried to enter, the guard stop me and ask "Berapa umur? Sudah 21 tahun?"... My first impression - laugh. Then my dad answer him "Sudah bekerja, dah tua sudah dia".

Sheessshhhhh ... Do I really look like 16 years old??? I guess it's time to curl my hair instead of rebonding .. Hahaha...

OK, enough with the crap... Apart from the draw, they have mini rolling at the end of the life draw. So if you buy any cash sweep ticket, you might have a chance to win the rolling cash of RM50!..

I think I'll go there again when I'm bored and got nothing to do.... If air-condition and near to my house. Hehehe.. OH ya, it is 2 1/ 2 mile (opposite Hong Leong Bank)...
I didn't take much photos because we must off the mobile when entering the premises....

Last Sunday is BF day of signing the "Book of Life" (I think that's what they call it). From the time table list, it is known as the "First Confession" day... Well, I translate directly the meaning since it's in BM. Hehehe... We arrived there at around 9am. Not many people there that time but there are people setting up stall to sell some food after the church service. BF told me that he had not had any breakfast yet and I nag him. Whahahaha! I had to sit separately from BF and dad since I'm not the godfather. Church service starts at 9.30pm. While waiting for the mass, I took pictures all around the church . Are they dreaming?? I took some picture when they signed the book. Well, I'm the only photographer that day. One thing different between St. Mark and my church is that during this kind of occasion is that in my church, there will be more than 1 photographers going all round taking photos or filming the whole occasion. Cozy Cafe, Jalan Song

Feeling hungry for something different on lunch time? Another place you can think of will be this restaurant - The Cozy Cafe. It is opposite One TJ with a black signboard. The environment is indeed cozy and warmth. Taste wise not bad but I can say that the service is a little weird. We order tea and they only permitted to give us 2 cup. Hhmmmm, I thought that we can just ask them to refill the pot wit hot water and share the tea amongst us. Guess this is how they earn more - limiting the number of sharing per tea pot. Oh well, got to just follow their rules. And this is what we ordered - sharing portion between a few of us. After all, ladies are small eaters. 'Ma Li Chai'/'Mani Chai', also known as Cangkuk Manis

While googling for news about 'malichai', it turns out that I hardly get anything that I am looking for, so this triggers me to write something about this local vegetables that I believe, can only be found in Sarawak. 'Mali chai' is easily planted and grow quite fast as well. In fact, this is the only vegetables that I planted and it didn't fail on me! With its stick, just plant it on the ground and leave the rain and sun to takes care of the rest. Hahaha... 'Mali chai' is a word in hokkien that mostly use in Kuching. 'Chai' means vegetables. Hakka people called it 'su choi'. Well, this vege doesn't seems to have an English name. If we are to translate from BM to English, it definitely sounds weird - Sweet Hook. I think anyone who hear 'sweet hook' will not be keen to try it out.. So, how do 'mali chai' looks like? I've snap the photos of this vegetables at my garden.
