Honda GoldWing Bike

A while ago, while walking around 7th mile, I came across this bike, which is owned by someone. The owner - unknown. But the bike really attract my attentions.

From the plate on the bike, it is call the Honda GoldWing. For me, it is call Big bike. Gosh, I wonder if I'll have a chance to sit at passenger even for a minute!

I'm not sure where is the owner.. With my amazement, I looked at the functions that the bike has. Wow, guess what... This bike is air-conditioned!!! Now I'm wondering how the air-conditioned would work. Whle you are on the road, isn't it true that the wind is would blow the air-conditioned away? It's like turn on your air-conditioned when you are in your car and at the same time, open the window. Hhmmm...

With my curiousity, I googled a little bit to see the history of this bike. This is what I get from Wiki:
"The Honda Gold Wing motocycle had its debut in 1975 and became one of the most popular motorcycles in history. Initially intended as a road bike, it started the new trend in touring bikes. The Gold Wing was the first motorcycle with an airbag system."
I believe the one I saw is of the model GL 1800.

Wow! There is one in Kuching??? The owner must be damn rich. You didnt wait to see who is the owner, young, old, handsome or not? haha!

Hahaha.... Rose, I saw this bike in front of a bike shop ... not sure whose the owner .. i wish to know who too! *wink* ... just imagine .. riding in a bike with air conditioned ...

Last Sunday is BF day of signing the "Book of Life" (I think that's what they call it). From the time table list, it is known as the "First Confession" day... Well, I translate directly the meaning since it's in BM. Hehehe... We arrived there at around 9am. Not many people there that time but there are people setting up stall to sell some food after the church service. BF told me that he had not had any breakfast yet and I nag him. Whahahaha! I had to sit separately from BF and dad since I'm not the godfather. Church service starts at 9.30pm. While waiting for the mass, I took pictures all around the church . Are they dreaming?? Cozy Cafe, Jalan Song

Feeling hungry for something different on lunch time? Another place you can think of will be this restaurant - The Cozy Cafe. It is opposite One TJ with a black signboard. The environment is indeed cozy and warmth. Taste wise not bad but I can say that the service is a little weird. We order tea and they only permitted to give us 2 cup. Hhmmmm, I thought that we can just ask them to refill the pot wit hot water and share the tea amongst us. Guess this is how they earn more - limiting the number of sharing per tea pot. Oh well, got to just follow their rules. And this is what we ordered - sharing portion between a few of us. After all, ladies are small eaters. 'Ma Li Chai'/'Mani Chai', also known as Cangkuk Manis

While googling for news about 'malichai', it turns out that I hardly get anything that I am looking for, so this triggers me to write something about this local vegetables that I believe, can only be found in Sarawak. 'Mali chai' is easily planted and grow quite fast as well. In fact, this is the only vegetables that I planted and it didn't fail on me! With its stick, just plant it on the ground and leave the rain and sun to takes care of the rest. Hahaha... 'Mali chai' is a word in hokkien that mostly use in Kuching. 'Chai' means vegetables. Hakka people called it 'su choi'. Well, this vege doesn't seems to have an English name. If we are to translate from BM to English, it definitely sounds weird - Sweet Hook. I think anyone who hear 'sweet hook' will not be keen to try it out.. So, how do 'mali chai' looks like? I've snap the photos of this vegetables at my garden.
