Mummy, I'm Pregnant Too

This is actually a funny conversations...

Kiddo is curious and wondering what is inside his aunt tummy because her tummy is much bigger than any other people. So he ask aunt what she have inside..

Kiddo: Aunty, what's that inside your stomach?
Aunt: This is baby. See, my tummy is big in order to store the baby and protect him
Kiddo: Really? I have a big tummy too
Aunt: Yes, you have a round tummy too, like mine.

Kiddo gets excited and happy. While rubbing his tummy, he said to his mum...

Kiddo: I have baby too. Mummy, see I have baby like aunty.
Mum: What makes you think you have baby?
Kiddo: I have round tummy, just like aunty. I have baby in my tummy.
Mum: Your tummy is fats, its not baby. Boys don't get pregnant, ok.
Kiddo: But I have a big tummy, mum. This means I'm pregnant too.

Mum: Don't be silly. Boy don't get pregnant. Do you ever see boys pregnant? Your daddy ever give birth or not?

Kiddo: No, daddy has flat tummy.
Mum: So, don't get silly. You better swim more and get those fats away.

Kiddo feeling sad as he is not carrying any baby.. Whahaha!!

The First Confession - St. Mark's Church, Batu Kawa

Last Sunday is BF day of signing the "Book of Life" (I think that's what they call it). From the time table list, it is known as the "First Confession" day... Well, I translate directly the meaning since it's in BM. Hehehe... We arrived there at around 9am. Not many people there that time but there are people setting up stall to sell some food after the church service. BF told me that he had not had any breakfast yet and I nag him. Whahahaha! I had to sit separately from BF and dad since I'm not the godfather. Church service starts at 9.30pm. While waiting for the mass, I took pictures all around the church . Are they dreaming?? I took some picture when they signed the book. Well, I'm the only photographer that day. One thing different between St. Mark and my church is that during this kind of occasion is that in my church, there will be more than 1 photographers going all round taking photos or filming the whole occasion. Cozy Cafe, Jalan Song

Feeling hungry for something different on lunch time? Another place you can think of will be this restaurant - The Cozy Cafe. It is opposite One TJ with a black signboard. The environment is indeed cozy and warmth. Taste wise not bad but I can say that the service is a little weird. We order tea and they only permitted to give us 2 cup. Hhmmmm, I thought that we can just ask them to refill the pot wit hot water and share the tea amongst us. Guess this is how they earn more - limiting the number of sharing per tea pot. Oh well, got to just follow their rules. And this is what we ordered - sharing portion between a few of us. After all, ladies are small eaters. 'Ma Li Chai'/'Mani Chai', also known as Cangkuk Manis

While googling for news about 'malichai', it turns out that I hardly get anything that I am looking for, so this triggers me to write something about this local vegetables that I believe, can only be found in Sarawak. 'Mali chai' is easily planted and grow quite fast as well. In fact, this is the only vegetables that I planted and it didn't fail on me! With its stick, just plant it on the ground and leave the rain and sun to takes care of the rest. Hahaha... 'Mali chai' is a word in hokkien that mostly use in Kuching. 'Chai' means vegetables. Hakka people called it 'su choi'. Well, this vege doesn't seems to have an English name. If we are to translate from BM to English, it definitely sounds weird - Sweet Hook. I think anyone who hear 'sweet hook' will not be keen to try it out.. So, how do 'mali chai' looks like? I've snap the photos of this vegetables at my garden.
