DIY Earring Box

Image
After preparing the 'tang yuen' during Christmas time, I kept thinking what should I do with the packaging. As I used to recycle stuff that I can recycle, the small holes from the packaging attracts me as it looks like there's something I can do with it. Then, I remember my earring collection which is so messy around my tables. The packaging looks like it can be converted into earring box! Hahaha.. So after washing the box and make sure that there's no more dirt on it, I dry them and put some cotton on each of the holes. After that, one of the box is use to hold dangling earring. Of course, one box isn't enough to hold all my dangling earrings. So, the other box is combination of dangling and non-dangling earrings. Hehehe.. Tadaaaa..... After that, I kept feeling that the little earring box that I have is way too simple. At the same time, I saw my old time favourite movie schedule to show on Monday, 28th December at 3.00pm - The Incredibles. I likes the baby boy ...

Xmas Part III - The Spring and Shanghai Restaurant

Image
OK, I am really polluting my blog with food stuff. Anyway, this is the final part of my Christmas celebration and eating feast. Holidays and celebrations will not be complete without any shopping action on the list. So, BF and I went to The Spring for shopping. As we pass through the Padini shop, the sales looks so attractive that I cannot resist not to go into the shop. This time, I asked the workers there if the sales is only for members. They told me that it is for everyone and the sales ends after that day. Hhmmmm, so I grab few clothes and try them on. Grab a dark chocolate color shirt and it really looks so nice that I decided to buy it. Before discount, it would be RM75+. After discount is RM30+.... BF get himself a shirt too. After that he keep showing off his shirt to me ... Hey, I also got! After that, I get myself ready for another round of heavy dinner. It is to introduce my cousin's husband to all of us as we did not attend her wedding in KL. The food as Shanghai Rest...

Xmas Day II - Chef At Home, Hui Sing Garden

Image
In celebrating the Christmas day, my family, BF and I went for dinner at a house western food called Chef At Home. It is located at Lorong 5, Hui Sing Garden. I suggested that we walked there but no one seems to agree with my suggestion. Hahaha... It is only 5 minutes walk from my home but I never been there for a meal. Light of Hope I've booked for a place earlier because it's Christmas day and I think most place would be filled with the hungry homosapiens. The service there is quite good and not like what I've heard before. Well, maybe they have improved on their service after getting feedbacks from the customers. We parked the car at my cousin's house, which is right opposite the dining place. I thought that I'm the first customer as they told me that they opened at 6pm. Well, I'm wrong. I'm their third customer. HHmmmmm..... When I got the menu, it looks like a lot of menus are not listed. I asked the waitress there and she told me that it's Christma...

Christmas Gathering for St. Joseph Prayer Group

Image
Last Sunday, I went with my dad to the Christmas gathering at St. Joseph. This gathering resembles the year end holidays of the prayer group. As I still have dozens of coupons in my priveledge book, I decide to bring pizza to the gathering. I went to 'tapao' the pizza late afternoon and at the same time, get some groceries at Upwell. Ooppsss, forgot to mention that I bought from Pizza Junction. I realize they have first floor. That's an improvement and expansion. With my coupons, I bought 2 large pizza for RM36. They do not charge for any service tax or government tax or whatsoever taxes like the usual fast food charges. Hahaha... OK, the dinner starts at 7.30pm. We reach there at around 7.10pm. By then, the place is already full with people. I chit-chat with my cousin in law while waiting for the time to fill my hungry stomach. So what's serve on the table? Pizza, spaghetti, cheese cakes and other cakes, fried beehoon, fried rice, fried mee, fried kueh tiaw, nugge...

Yeah, I know this posting is a bit too out-dated, but what to do, I keep forgeting to download the photos. On the 20th of December 2008, all churches in Kuching has come together as a group and organized a Christmas Parade around Kuching town. Along the roadside before the parade starts.. Some knows and is waiting for the parade but some is still blur about what will happen in the next few minutes... The events starts with some boys carrying the banner... It is a very fun and memorable event as not everyday we can have parade going around Kuching town. The parade started off at 6pm at Jubilee. Oh ya, on that Saturday, it was actually raining from the moment I wokes up until late evening. Around 5.30pm, some how, the rain had stopped and the sky is clear. Miracle!!! God has bless us all!! So here are some of the photos from my camera on that day. I didn't join the parade but instead being one of those who keep looking and wondering what is happening. Hahahaha... Some passerby (kids ...
