When talk about garden wedding in Malaysia, my first thinking is unpredictable weather. How can we arrange a good garden wedding with all the sunny and rainy days? Oh well, a friend of mine had did a garden wedding for her wedding. For me, although the sun is brightly shinning eating up our skins, what matters is the love shared between two person. It’s the love that brightens up and shines the whole event. Rules of thumb for those who is preparing for garden wedding in Malaysia: -           Remember to add tent at the guest sitting area -           Bright colors as decorations will surely brightens up the area -           Lovely MC Okok, this is just my own personal point of view. You might have your own.. Happy wedding for those that are in the midst of preparing their big day!!

Wedding is one of the occassion where money is an issue. I just don't understand why is that some businesses likes to mark up their prices especially for wedding stuff. Thinking that it's not worth the money, I tried some DIY teapot set. Cup - RM0.80 each, bought 4 pieces Pot - RM8.80 Holder - RM4.40 Sticker - RM2 Total spent = RM18.40

Few weeks ago, I attended my cousin's wedding dinner at Serian. I'm actually quite impressed with Serian people's punctuality. It appears that they are so much better in term of punctuality compared to Kuching. Oppsss.. Wedding card shows 6.30pm. The dinner starts before 7pm. AMAZING!!! This is the most punctual wedding dinner I've ever attended!! Ok, enough about the amazing punctuality. I'm not going to talk much about the wedding but instead, share the food pictures with all of you. Hot&Cold Dish Shark fin soup .. 3 layer pork See the 3 layer Super big steam fish Roasted duck .. In Kuching, there are few most well known restaurant where Kuching-lang would usually choose. One of them is The Banquet. When first started the business, The Banquet is not very well known and the first comments that I would hear is "not nice" and "lousy". I guess, it takes time to build up the reputations and fame once again. By now, The Banquet has become one of the most popular restaurant for wedding receptions. Last week, I have attended another wedding dinner here. I can't remember how many times have I come here for wedding dinner. All I can say is A LOT! Each time I'm here, the menu are different. I must say, I salute their creativity to create different types of set menu for occasion like wedding receptions. Not going to talk much about them or the couples for now. At the night of the wedding, we are invited to celebrate the joy of the newly wed couple at Penview Inn. The first time that I went to this hotels is few years ago, for lunch buffet. I still remember that they have the quality of food. On that night, this hotel disappoints me. The waitress is obviously without skills and they seem to be lack of everything. When we got there, no one serves us drinks until the very last minutes, after several times of asking for our cups to be filled. I feel like I’m begging for cup of water. Well, the only drinks that the waitress is holding are Cola. I had no choice but to say OK. I can’t imagine how long I need to wait if I am to request for a cup of plain water. The dinner is supposed to starts at 6.30pm. As usual, being Malaysian for most of the guest, everyone seems to be ignoring the meaning of punctuality. Dinner starts at 8pm. For some of us, 30 th May isn’t any special day that we will remember the rest of our life. But for some people, it’s the biggest day of their life. Congratulations to the newly wed couple, Patrick & Sandra. BF had annoyed me early in the morning by telling me that the church service starts at 10.30am. Later, at 9.30am, he told me that he is coming to pick me now and the service starts at 10.00am. I got panicked for a second because I haven’t taken my bath yet! For girls, getting ready to go out isn’t just about taking bath and pick the closest jeans and t-shirts available. So, to get ready in roughly 10 minutes is almost near to impossible. I quickly rush to have the shortest bath ever! BF arrives at my house when I’m still picking what clothes to wear. Dinner reception are in Lok Thian Restaurant. The food here is nice and price is reasonable. Only major concern with here is the parking. When I reached there, JenJen has not yet there. So we just went up and find our sitting place. SK and RK is already there. While waiting, I try to snap one picture of the stage. Well, it is quite far from our place.. Lazy to write more..
