Feeling hungry for something different on lunch time? Another place you can think of will be this restaurant - The Cozy Cafe. It is opposite One TJ with a black signboard. The environment is indeed cozy and warmth. Taste wise not bad but I can say that the service is a little weird. We order tea and they only permitted to give us 2 cup. Hhmmmm, I thought that we can just ask them to refill the pot wit hot water and share the tea amongst us. Guess this is how they earn more - limiting the number of sharing per tea pot. Oh well, got to just follow their rules. And this is what we ordered - sharing portion between a few of us. After all, ladies are small eaters. Mushroom soup with garlic bread Fish and chips Spaghetti Carbonara with hot dogs  Enjoy your lunch yea...

Yes, I'm pregnant and still it doesn't stop me from having my girl's night out. Hehehe... If you're a mum and you hardly have time for yourself, I bet, you do agree with me that, once a while, we too, needed some time out for ourselves. Time out is use to re-energize ourselves and refresh us physically and mentally. So, the ladies and me had decided to have some our me-time by having a decent dinner without the husband and kids. For me, I would so much appreciate this dining because I do not have to watch out for my daughter running around and talking non stop. We picked Oinks as our meet up area. For those who don't know where, it is near Jalan Song. Oinks is now open during lunch hour. So, if you're thinking of some western food for lunch, you can consider Oinks as one of your choice too. Fabulosa ! New restaurant is in town! The owner is a lady with the best promoting skills I've ever know. During my first visit, I am actually amaze at the way she promotes her food. She is full with confidence and anxiety. Hhmmmmm ... They have both local and western type of food but the expertise, as claim by the boss is western food. Hhmmmmm .. I must admit though, that their burger is nice. It's quite a big burger for someone my size. Anyway, I can finish it. So greedy! Have anyone notice this small shop inside Giant in Tabuan? On one of my lunch date, we decided to go for short shopping spree. We had our simple lunch first at this warung. It's quite a small shop near to the RHB atm machine. The place is pack with people and some even take away. I guess the food must be delicious. It didn't take long for them to serve us. There's only 2 people (the cook and the waitress is the same people!). Really amaze me that they can deliver fast and on time. Nasi Kuning Bakso Ayam Penyek I will come here again ..

This is actually quite a late post. When we had this dinner, I remember my girl just starting to recognize people at that time. We have been talking about this dinner for quite some time. Its all about salmon - salmon fried rice, salmon sushi, salmon soup, salmon, salmon, salmon!!!! Now, why everything is salmon? We ordered one big salmon fish and ask the cook for us. Enjoy, right? Hehehehe ...

For one of my gal friend's birthday, we went for a private dinner at Rakutei. It's quite a fun night as we play some games and really enjoying the moment. Its been a while since the last time that we gather like this. I've accidentally deleted the single picture in my phone. Should have keep a copy of all of them.. Haaihzzz.. I left with only one copy with all the foods that I amend. Yum yum ... !!

During one of our gathering, my colleague decided to pay a visit to the new dining place in town - Ocerseas Restaurant. The restaurant is located near the airport and looks very eastern-western style. We spoke a while with the supervisor there. She told us that the cook is not local people but from China. All the dishes served are menus which is the combination of Kuching-China style. Meaning, food that can be found in Kuching and cook in style with China people. Lol !! She recommended us with the chicken cooked in steam bamboo. Sound like our 'ayam pansuh' but its not. Anyway, here's the mouth watering food that we ordered... Not sure about the price though .. But then, taste wise, not bad. I would come here again when there's chance. Hehehe...

With little one, it is hard to pick where I want to go for dinner. Its because, we need to think of the rainy and hot sunny day. For Christmas celebration, I decided to go to The Spring and simply dine at one of the restaurant in there. Personally, I prefer to bring LO to The Spring. Its because The Spring is less noisy compare to other shopping mall. Since we never been to Manhattan Fish Market, we decided to have our Christmas dinner here. Here's what we order... Overall, I dont't really like the food. It doesn't feel special at all. The service is not bad but then they can do better. Price wise is quite expensive. There's too much taxes and additional charges apart from the food. I

I'm not really a person that will celebrate all sort of occasions the grand way but rather let it be simple and decent. As its been a while that I've not been to any restaurant for a nice food. So, taking the excuse of mooncake festival to have some nice food. My HB favourite place, Pai Jia Le. He will always choose here if I ask him where to eat. It's the slice pork with 'kiam hu' that attracts him. Whenever we are here, this dish will definitely be one of the choices of food on the table. I think I've posted a lot about Pai Jia Le, so this time, not going to mention much about it.

There's new western food in town! Or maybe, not so new already since this is quite a late posting. Haaiihzzz ... Just a day before baby eagerly to see the world, we went to Sausage Gourmet for lunch. The food is quite large plate. I think this is just a start to attract customers. I order kids meal burger as I'm not really into heavy food. Since I'm due for delivery already, I started to watch what I eat so that I don't have much weight to lose. Hehehehe...As for drink, the only thing that suits me is milo. Anyway, here's our food. Overall, I'm satisfied with my kids meal. It's just enough for me. Old at age, young in the heart! I’m going to maintain this spirits as long as I can and never admit I’m old. Hehehe … This year celebration is fairly simple. Just had some cakes and dinner at Hijau, BDC. Nothing fancy and with me, 8 th months and exploding anytime, I rather keep it simple. I think I’m going to gain weight with excessive eating.. hhmmmmm.. Ikan Bakar .... too little sambal  RM6 with rice. This portion enough for 4 people O Jien - the wet type. Previously, this restaurant is known as Dong Guan. Heard that they have change the name, not sure if the owner changed too. I attended my cousin’s wedding on my birthday. Yeah, what a good coincidence with so many relatives celebrating together. Haha! Here’s the food that we have for the night. I like the cold dish the most! My drinks - warm plain water.. lol  The first dish - nice !! Shark fin soup - a lot of crab meat inside. Pork ribs Getting bored waiting for next meal.. here's what I do..  Overall, the food is not so bad. But portion wise, I would say it’s too little. There’s only 7 people on my table but yet, we manage to finish all the food.
