Friends - Plenty But Few
I read one articles about friends. Does true friend really exist? I guess some of us would say yes, they do exist. While some would say no. For me, a true friends does exist but not forever. Why?
Let say, I have a friend name xxx. From firstime I met him till let say, 2 years later, he is a good and true friend. Always there for you, know what's best for you, etc etc etc .. Few years later, he got married, have kids, etc etc. Still is a true friend but is he really a true friend? He can't be there all the time for you as he got family to takes care. But, whenever you are in trouble, he listen, just can't be there. So, what is true friends?
Actually, for me, true friend can be define in a lot of ways. What do you mean by true? Always there for you or someone that would stand up for you and never betray you? That sounds like partner than friends. Betray? What do you mean by betray? Talk bad about you or steal your boyfriend or points out the bad of you? Also, does true friend will really stands up for you? Not necessary. Let say you work in A company, she works in B company. Both of you are competitors. Can she stands up for you by giving way to you in business and end up she losing business?
True friend can be define in a lot of ways. A friend might be true to you in this corner but not a true one in that corner. She might be good to you in lending an ideas of what shirts suits you most but might not be true when it turns into work related or other related thing. What I mean is that a person can only be 50% true to another person, not 100%. Hey, she need to be more true to her life partner than you! If she being true to you 100%, what's the difference between you and her life partner? That's my opinion anyway. Her life partner is someone she would spends the rest of her life with and not you. So, if your true friend or good friend changes just because she is attach, it doesn't mean she has forgotten you. Or if she is too hookup in the office than go shopping with you, understand her needs and stress at work instead of blaming her for not focussing on you!!! She always there and not missing. Stop thinking that she doesn't care for you anymore. She cares just that she have her partner to think of.
