Sushi King RM2 Promotion Fun

I know this posting is WAAAAAAY to late but I can't help it. Never had time to download all the pictures from my camera into my PC. Hahaha.. Yeah, I'm a lazy person. We reached there at around 1pm. Since it is very late for lunch, therefore the queue is not that long. We waited for about 10 minutes only. Yayayyaa..

Peeping from the line to see where got free seat.. Do you see the end of the sit there? It's empty...

Finally when it reaches our turn to go in, we tried to look for Unagi on the belt. Sadly, there is none. Hungry and anxious, we just took whatever second choice other than Unagi. Huhuhu.. no unagi. I tried and grab as much as possible the baby octopus.. I love it very much!! Yummy..Yummy...

BF grab a lot of salmon until we both felt sick with salmon smell now..After a while, I finally ate 7 plate of sushi. And I manage to grab purple plate. This means that without the promotion, purple plate is actually RM7 per plate... hahaha....

Yaya, not much picture on the food. I'm too hungry that I just eat and eat and eat without remember taking the photos of the food!!! Hahaha.....

Two person, trying to eat as much as we can .. here it goes... 7 plate for now...

At the end, we count out plate.. total 11 plates ........

What's that purple plate leh? I mean, what's that sushi?

Hahha ... what to do .. that explain how "big" my BF is lor .... errmm, the purple one ah .. got one big prawn on top of it .. not sure what they called it . hehehe

While googling for news about 'malichai', it turns out that I hardly get anything that I am looking for, so this triggers me to write something about this local vegetables that I believe, can only be found in Sarawak. 'Mali chai' is easily planted and grow quite fast as well. In fact, this is the only vegetables that I planted and it didn't fail on me! With its stick, just plant it on the ground and leave the rain and sun to takes care of the rest. Hahaha... 'Mali chai' is a word in hokkien that mostly use in Kuching. 'Chai' means vegetables. Hakka people called it 'su choi'. Well, this vege doesn't seems to have an English name. If we are to translate from BM to English, it definitely sounds weird - Sweet Hook. Consumer’s Right – Check Label Before Purchase!

Last Wednesday (22nd July 2009), I went to one of the supermarket that is on the way back to my home. Well, I am quite reluctant to say which one. I believe picture speaks louder than words. I normally would not put up the date I went to certain places, but this time, the date is extremely important! One of the reasons that I went there is because of the pizza bread. Yeah, I am quite fond of their pizza bread as I think that the taste is quite unique and nice. I bought 1 piece for RM2.80. For me, once a while spending money on foods is good as it is a way to pamper ourselves. So, with my pizza bread, I walked around the supermarket and ate it. Some of the workers there keep looking at me but I don’t care. If I am not allow to eat and walk, they should just come and tell me instead of looking at me. Hong Kong Bun - Xiao Ba Wang

Have anyone been to this place? I actually asked SK to help in translating them into English. According to her 'xiao' refers to small while 'ba wang' is gangster. Hhmmmm.... It is located right opposite the Stutong Market. BF say this is second branch. For me, this is the first time I saw it. This is a good place for 'pao' lovers to have their breakfast. BF and I went there once for breakfast since it's on the way to our workplace. First impression - I like it here. Not much traffics and the place is clean. Second impression - what happen to the day dreaming waitresses?? I want to take my order! Third impression - do they know that we are waiting? The food is nice. For BF, it is superb. He has been eating 'pao' for breakfast for almost everyday. Well maybe like what he say, for me everything is the same. But I must say the dim sum is nice.
